HARRISON COUNTY — Two individuals sustained injuries in a motorcycle accident just before 8 p.m. Saturday on Route W.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2005 Suzuki motorcycle, operated by a 24-year-old man from Kansas City, Kansas, was traveling south five miles north of Bethany when it struck a deer and overturned.
The driver and a 22-year-old male passenger were transported to Harrison County Community Hospital by a private vehicle. Authorities stated that neither was wearing helmets at the time of the incident.
