Two seriously injured in motorcycle crash in southeast North Dakota.

LIDGERWOOD, N.D. (KFGO) – A motorcycle crash on State Highway 11, east of Lidgerwood, resulted in serious injuries for both the rider and passenger on Thursday night.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. when the motorcycle, operated by 49-year-old Corey Sayler of Bismarck, crossed the centerline and sideswiped a passing car. Sayler lost control, and the motorcycle entered the ditch, ejecting both riders.

Sayler and his passenger, 37-year-old Kaci Manikowski of Lidgerwood, were not wearing helmets at the time of the accident. Both sustained serious injuries and required medical attention.

Authorities reported that Sayler faces multiple charges, including DUI, DUI refusal, and driving under suspension. The driver of the car, 59-year-old Dale Polansky of Lidgerwood, was unharmed in the collision.

Emergency responders and medical teams arrived on the scene to provide assistance. Further investigation into the accident is ongoing, and no additional details have been released.
