AURORA | A motorcycle driver was killed in a two-vehicle crash in south Aurora on Monday night, police reported.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:40 p.m. at the intersection of East Hampden Avenue and South Espana Way, according to Aurora Police. Multiple witnesses indicated that the motorcycle collided with a car, ejecting the rider.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene but were unable to revive the motorcyclist, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car is reportedly cooperating with authorities.
Authorities closed off streets leading to the crash site for an ongoing investigation. No additional details about the identities of those involved have been released.
