Three-Vehicle Collision on I-95 South Claims One Life in Volusia County

VOLUSIA COUNTY, FL—A fatal three-vehicle collision occurred on I-95 South at Mile Marker 263 on October 10 at approximately 4:15 p.m.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash involved two sedans and a pickup truck. One driver, identified as a 34-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other individuals sustained serious injuries and were transported to local hospitals by emergency medical services.

Authorities said that all southbound lanes were closed for nearly two hours as responders worked to clear the wreckage. The scene was managed by the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Highway Patrol.

Towing services were also on site to remove the vehicles involved in the crash. An investigation is ongoing, and no charges have been filed at this time.
