Multivehicle Crash in Downtown Injures Four, Closes Lane
DOWNTOWN — A multivehicle collision at 2:41 p.m. today on Main Street has left four individuals injured and prompted lane closures as emergency crews respond.
According to the Police Department, two cars and a pickup truck were involved in the incident. Two of the injured individuals were transported to City Hospital with serious injuries, while two others sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
Emergency Medical Services and the Fire Department were dispatched to the location, assisting in providing medical aid and directing traffic. Authorities closed one lane of Main Street in both directions while crews worked to clear the scene and investigate the cause of the crash.
Towing services are on-site to remove the vehicles involved. Authorities did not disclose the ages of those injured or information regarding the conditions of the hospitalized individuals.
