Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-95 in Riverdale Leads to Injuries

RIVERDALE, MD — A multi-vehicle collision on southbound I-95 near Exit 23 resulted in several injuries on Tuesday afternoon, authorities reported.

The crash occurred around 2:41 p.m., involving four vehicles, including a pickup truck and two sedans. Emergency responders from Prince George’s County Fire and EMS arrived on the scene to provide medical aid to the injured.

Witnesses reported significant traffic delays as two southbound lanes were blocked for over an hour during cleanup operations. Tow trucks were called to remove the damaged vehicles, authorities said.

As of 3:45 p.m., at least three individuals were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. The condition of the victims has not been disclosed.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing, according to the Maryland State Police. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes to avoid further delays.
