Multiple-Vehicle Collision on Highway 101 Leaves One Dead, Several Injured
A serious multi-vehicle crash occurred on Highway 101 near milepost 230 in Lincoln County around 3:15 p.m. on October 10, 2023.
According to the Oregon State Police, two cars and a commercial truck were involved in the collision. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, and at least three others sustained injuries requiring medical attention.
Emergency responders from Lincoln County Fire District No. 1 and Pacific West Ambulance arrived quickly, providing assistance and transporting the injured to local hospitals.
Authorities closed the northbound lanes of Highway 101 for approximately four hours while the scene was cleared and an investigation was conducted.
