Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-95 Causes Major Delays
WILMINGTON, DE — A multi-vehicle collision on I-95 northbound occurred at 3:15 p.m. on October 14, resulting in significant traffic disruptions.
Authorities reported that five vehicles were involved in the incident near Exit 6. Two individuals suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital by New Castle County Paramedics.
The Delaware State Police blocked three lanes while emergency crews responded, leading to backlogs extending several miles. Tow services were on scene to remove the vehicles, and all lanes were reopened by 5:30 p.m.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, according to the Delaware State Police.
