Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-75 Southbound Leaves One Dead, Several Injured

TAMPA, FL—A multi-vehicle accident on I-75 Southbound near exit 256 resulted in one fatality and multiple injuries on October 10 at approximately 4:15 p.m.

Authorities reported that the collision involved four vehicles, including two sedans and a pickup truck. One driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while three others sustained serious injuries. Emergency medical services transported the injured to nearby hospitals for treatment.

The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the incident, closing two southbound lanes for nearly three hours as an investigation commenced. Towing crews removed the wreckage, and traffic was diverted onto alternative routes.
