CASS COUNTY, Mo. — A 65-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash in Cass County on Wednesday evening, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. when the Harley Davidson, operated by the Urich resident, veered off the left side of southbound Highway 7 at South Thunder Road. Authorities said the motorcycle traveled through the median, crossed the northbound lanes, and struck a tree on the northbound shoulder.
Emergency responders pronounced the rider dead at the scene. The highway was temporarily closed for the investigation, and no additional injuries were reported. The Missouri Highway Patrol is continuing the investigation.
