Virginia Beach Motorcycle Crash Results in Fatality
A motorcycle crash in the 800 block of Diamond Springs Road on December 27, 2025, at 11:38 a.m. has resulted in the death of a 53-year-old rider.
Kerry Lawing of Virginia Beach was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased the following day.
According to a preliminary investigation by the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD), Lawing was traveling south on Diamond Springs Road when a vehicle turned in front of him, leading to the collision. The other driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with authorities.
