Vermont First Responder Killed in Motorcycle Crash in Massachusetts
HEATH, Mass. — A Vermont first responder was killed in a motorcycle crash on July 3 in Heath, Massachusetts, according to Deerfield Valley Rescue.
Conn Rose, 22-year member of the rescue organization, succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident. He served on the board of directors and was also an LPN at Grace Cottage Hospital.
Witnesses reported the crash involved only Rose’s motorcycle. Emergency medical services responded to the scene, but details on specific injuries were not disclosed.
Rose owned a local landscaping business and was remembered by Deerfield Valley Rescue for his impactful service and compassion within the community.
Funeral arrangements are pending the arrival of family members.
