HEATH, Mass. (Local News Wire) – A motorcycle crash in Heath, Massachusetts, on Saturday claimed the life of a Vermont first responder.
The incident involved a single motorcycle and occurred at approximately 2:41 p.m. on Route 8. Advanced EMT Conn Rose, 43, was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities confirmed.
Rose served with Deerfield Valley Rescue for 22 years and also worked at Grace Cottage Hospital. He was remembered for his professionalism and dedication to the community.
Emergency personnel from the Massachusetts State Police and local rescue agencies responded to the crash. An investigation is underway, and Route 8 experienced temporary lane closures as a result.
Authorities have not released further details regarding the circumstances of the crash.
