HEATH, Mass. (Local News Wire) – A Vermont first responder died in a motorcycle crash in Heath on October 1 at 2:41 p.m.
The collision involved a motorcycle and another vehicle, resulting in confirmed injuries and one fatality. Emergency response teams, including local police and medical units, arrived shortly after the incident.
Authorities confirmed that the victim, Advanced EMT Conn Rose, was a 22-year veteran of Deerfield Valley Rescue. He was also employed at Grace Cottage Hospital and owned a landscaping business.
Deerfield Valley Rescue expressed condolences, stating Rose will be remembered for his professionalism, kindness, and dedication to the community.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing. Roadway closures were in effect during the initial response.
