CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — A motorcyclist died in a crash on Highway 218 in Black Hawk County on Sunday evening.
The Iowa State Patrol identified the victim as 31-year-old Jeffrey Millen of Cedar Falls. Authorities said he was traveling north when he collided with the rear of another vehicle at approximately 9:20 p.m.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene, but Millen succumbed to his injuries. No other injuries were reported.
Authorities closed one lane of the highway during the investigation, which is ongoing.
