Woodbridge Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of 36-Year-Old Man
A motorcycle crash in Woodbridge on Saturday night resulted in the death of a 36-year-old man, authorities said.
Michael Layne Hall, of Woodbridge, was traveling east on Old Bridge Road when he lost control of his motorcycle approaching Colby Drive shortly before 11 p.m. Witnesses reported that he attempted to navigate a right curve but veered into the median, striking a traffic sign and a guardrail, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
Hall was pronounced dead at a local hospital. The motorcycle involved was identified as a 2014 Yamaha YZF-R1, police confirmed. Initial investigations suggest that speed may have contributed to the crash.
