PULASKI COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — A 67-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 81 in Pulaski County on Thursday afternoon.
The Virginia State Police (VSP) reported the incident occurred at 4:15 p.m. at Exit 94 while the motorcycle was exiting the highway.
Authorities said Timothy O. Cox, of Dublin, lost control of his 2022 Harley Davidson Street Glide, ran off the road, struck two signs, and subsequently overturned.
Cox was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
The crash is currently under investigation by VSP. No information on potential lane closures or additional injuries has been released.
