WAPAKONETA, Ohio — A 37-year-old man died Friday after a dirt bike crash on North Blackhoof Street.
The Wapakoneta Police Department responded to the incident around 11:49 a.m. According to authorities, the rider lost control of the dirt bike and was ejected from the vehicle. The man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
He was transported to Lima Memorial Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and no additional information is being released at this time.
The Wapakoneta Police Department has expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
