LEESBURG – A 64-year-old Warsaw man was injured in a motorcycle accident on CR 200E Thursday afternoon.
The crash occurred at 1:57 p.m. near 5943 N. 200E, a quarter-mile south of CR 500N in Plain Township. According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, the Yamaha motorcycle was traveling south on CR 200E when, for unknown reasons, it skidded and laid down, ejecting the driver.
Rodney A. Chiddister was airlifted by Samaritan helicopter to a Fort Wayne hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Emergency responders included the North Webster Police Department, Milford Police Department, Plain Township Fire Department, Tippecanoe Township Fire Territory, Lutheran EMS, and Raven’s Wrecker Service.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
