JACKSONVILLE, Ala. — A single-vehicle motorcycle crash early Saturday morning has resulted in the death of a Wellington man, according to authorities.
Hunter C. Ramsey, 24, was operating a 2024 Yamaha YZF-R7 when he lost control, left the roadway, and struck a guide wire. The incident occurred at approximately 12:49 a.m. on Nisbet Lake Road, near the intersection with Pleasant Valley Road, about seven miles north of Jacksonville in Calhoun County.
Ramsey was pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency response was provided by local law enforcement and emergency medical services.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is conducting an ongoing investigation into the crash.
