WASCO COUNTY, Ore. — A West Richland man died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 84 near The Dalles on April 14.
At approximately 11:51 a.m., Ryan Christopher King, 38, collided with an Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) attenuator vehicle while riding his Harley Davidson. The ODOT vehicle was stationary in the left lane to shield a mobile brooming operation along the median.
Authorities reported that the driver of the ODOT vehicle was not injured in the incident. The crash remains under investigation by the Oregon State Police. No other vehicles were involved in the accident, and no lane closures have been reported.
