WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — A 68-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash on Treyburn Drive on Monday evening, according to the James City County Police Department.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:44 p.m. at the intersection of Treyburn Drive and Chambrel Way. First responders discovered the man down on the roadway after the single-vehicle crash.
He was transported to Riverside Doctor’s Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities confirmed that the man was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
The James City County Police Crash Team is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. No other vehicles were involved, and no additional injuries were reported. Lane closures were in effect during the investigation.
