NISKAYUNA, N.Y. — A two-vehicle crash on Troy-Schenectady Road near Algonquin Road resulted in the death of a motorcyclist on October 5 at 5:55 p.m.
According to Niskayuna Police, the collision involved a motorcycle and another vehicle. The motorcyclist, identified as 25-year-old Christopher Reith of Latham, was transported to Ellis Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The driver of the second vehicle, 46-year-old Mirsad Ramic of Schenectady, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment.
The Niskayuna Police Department, in collaboration with the Schenectady County Sheriff’s Office, is investigating the incident. Authorities urge any witnesses who have not yet come forward to contact Detective Daly at 518-386-4582.
