PERRY, Ga. (WGXA) — A motorcycle crash on I-75 Northbound in Perry resulted in the death of a 57-year-old woman Monday afternoon, according to the Georgia State Patrol (GSP).
The incident occurred just before 2:00 p.m. near exit 135. GSP troopers responded to the scene shortly thereafter.
Authorities reported that the victim was operating a Harley-Davidson in the middle lane when she veered left into the median and struck the guardrail.
Witnesses observed Perry Police and paramedics at the scene. GSP confirmed that Leslie Falco-Sullivan, 57, from Bloomingdale, New York, sustained catastrophic injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to Georgia 511, the accident was cleared around 4:00 p.m., but it left two lanes closed, causing significant traffic delays.
