Woman killed and man injured in Lebanon motorcycle crash into utility pole.

LEBANON, Ind. (WISH) — A motorcycle crash in Lebanon late Monday night resulted in the death of a passenger and critical injuries to the driver.

The Lebanon Police Department reported the incident occurred at the intersection of State Road 39 and Anderson Lane at 10:16 p.m. Officers found two riders trapped between the motorcycle and a utility pole.

Emergency medical services transported both individuals to a hospital. The passenger, 29-year-old Nicole King of Lebanon, was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The driver, a 30-year-old man, was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. Authorities stated that multiple agencies are assisting in the inquiry.
