Fatal Crash on Wyoming Highway

A 34-year-old man died after his pickup truck struck a stopped semi-truck on Wyoming Highway 387 near Wright on Monday afternoon. Authorities identified the victim as Jacob Harding and noted that he was not wearing a seatbelt.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol is investigating driver inattention as a possible contributing factor in the collision. The crash resulted in lane closures while the scene was cleared; no additional injuries were reported.

Rollover Crash on I-80

One man was killed and three others injured in a rollover involving a semi-truck on Interstate 80 near Sinclair on Sunday. Authorities reported that the driver, 35-year-old Ahmed Sadiq of Colorado, may have been fatigued and was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Emergency crews responded to the scene, and the investigation remains ongoing. Details about the injuries sustained by the three passengers have not yet been released.

Hit-and-Run Incident in Lusk

The Lusk Police Department seeks public assistance in a hit-and-run case that occurred on July 23. A vehicle struck several utility poles on the 500 block of Main Street before the driver fled on foot.

A wildland fire is being managed in the Deer Creek area, northwest of Thayne.
