MULTIVEHICLE CRASH ON I-95 IN NEWTON LEAVES TWO INJURED

NEWTON, MA — A multivehicle collision on I-95 North occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m. on October 10, resulting in two injuries.

According to state police, the incident involved four vehicles near exit 35. Emergency services from the Newton Fire Department and AMR responded to the scene, providing medical aid to the injured parties.

Both individuals sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. One lane of traffic was closed for approximately 45 minutes as crews worked to clear the roadway.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash, but no charges have been filed at this time. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid delays.
