Omaha, NE – Zackary “Zack” A. Bazer, 64, passed away from cancer on March 14, 2025, surrounded by family.

Born December 8, 1960, in Omaha, Bazer faced significant early hardships, including the death of his mother in a car accident when he was 4. He later lost his sister and brother to tragic circumstances, shaping his resilient character according to family sources.

Bazer is survived by four children, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was known for his humor, adventurous spirit, and generosity. His struggles with addiction led to separation from his family, but his love for them remained strong, family members said.

A motorcycle accident in his adulthood caused lasting health challenges, but Bazer continued to uplift others, fostering deep connections within his community. His faith and kind nature earned him a lasting reputation, especially among children and animals, witnesses noted.

A Celebration of Life will occur at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home on March 20, 2025, at 10 a.m., with a viewing on March 19 from 4 to 8 p.m. Family encourages acts of kindness in Bazer’s memory.
