PHOENIX, Arizona — A motorcycle crash claimed the life of a 22-year-old man Friday afternoon, local police confirmed.
The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. at Cave Creek Road and Union Hills Drive, involving a motorcycle and a car. The rider was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Authorities identified the victim as Jose Solorzano Magallon. Preliminary reports indicate that the car may have failed to yield, while speed is suspected to have contributed to the motorcycle accident.
The driver of the car remained at the scene. An investigation is currently ongoing, with no charges filed as of yet, according to police.
