Campbell County, VA. – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Wednesday evening near Altavista.
According to the Altavista Fire Company, the accident happened around 6:24 p.m. near Wards Road and Gladys Road.
A motorcycle and a truck were involved in the collision.
The motorcyclist died at the accident scene.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
More details about the accident were not released.
The Virginia State Police is investigating the accident.
