Las Vegas, NV. – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident in Las Vegas on Monday evening.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 7:03 p.m. at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Mojave Drive.
A 2006 Suzuki motorcycle was traveling east on Flamingo when it collided with a 2015 Nissan Versa that was making a left turn from westbound Flamingo onto southbound Mojave.
The impact of the collision ejected the rider from the bike.
Medical personnel rendered aid to the rider, but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The Nissan driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
