St. Petersburg, FL. – An 18-year-old motorcyclist died after colliding with a car early Friday morning in St. Petersburg.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 7 a.m. on the Howard Frankland Bridge.
A motorcycle and an SUV crashed into each other. The 18-year-old rider was ejected and landed in the back of a Road Ranger truck that was stopped on the side of the highway.
The unidentified rider died at the accident scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
