Motorcycle Crash Near Meridian High School Claims Life of 20-Year-Old
Meridian, ID — A motorcycle crash near Rocky Mountain High School left one individual dead on the morning of December 12.
According to the Meridian Police Department, Landon Dela Rosa, 20, of Meridian, was riding his Kawasaki motorcycle north on Linder Road at approximately 10:30 a.m. when he collided with a Jeep Gladiator. The pickup truck reportedly entered the roadway from the intersection of North Linder Road and West Cayuse Creek Drive.
Dela Rosa sustained serious injuries and was transported to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise; however, he could not be saved. The Ada County Coroner’s Office confirmed his identity following the incident.
No students from the high school were involved in the crash, authorities reported. The Meridian Police Department is actively investigating the incident.
