FLORENCE, MA – A 21-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash on Burts Pit Road Sunday evening.
According to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office, emergency crews responded to the scene near 564 Burts Pit Road at approximately 7:45 p.m.
Initial investigations indicate the motorcycle was traveling east when it left the roadway and struck a group of trees. The operator was transported to Cooley Dickinson Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of death.
Authorities confirmed that the crash is still under investigation.
