ROWAN COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) – A Morehead man, 23, died Wednesday after a two-vehicle collision on KY 801, authorities said.
Kentucky State Police received a call for assistance from the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office around 3:30 p.m. on September 27.
According to police, a blue Ford Explorer traveling south on KY 801 crossed the center line and collided with a black Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
The motorcycle was operated by Christopher Adkins, who was transported to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities confirmed that the investigation is ongoing.
Responding agencies included the Rowan County Sheriff’s Department, Morehead-Rowan EMS, Farmers Fire Department, and the Rowan County Coroner’s Office.
