MADISON – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with an SUV at approximately 7:50 p.m. on Tuesday at Route 79 and Overbrook Road, police reported.
Authorities stated the identity of the deceased rider is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Madison Police Capt. Jeremy Yorke.
The exact circumstances of the crash, including vehicle positioning, have not been disclosed. Madison police are investigating the incident with assistance from the South-Central Connecticut Accident Reconstruction Team.
