Delhi Motorcyclist Injured in Hit-and-Run Incident
A hit-and-run accident in Delaware County on 220th Avenue injured a 33-year-old motorcyclist early Friday morning, September 26.
According to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, Blake Muller was westbound on his motorcycle when a pickup truck, traveling east, failed to yield while making a left turn from 255th Street. The motorcycle collided with the truck, resulting in Muller being thrown from the bike. He sustained minor injuries and road rash.
The pickup driver, identified as 62-year-old Richard Hughes of Delhi, fled the scene. Authorities have issued a warrant for his arrest.
Emergency services responded to the incident; however, specific details regarding additional medical aid or road closures were not disclosed. The investigation is ongoing.
