Motorcycle Crash in Jasper County Claims Life
JASPER COUNTY, IA—A fatal motorcycle accident occurred on Highway 163 near mile marker 13 at approximately 2:41 p.m. on October 3.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, the crash involved one motorcycle and resulted in the death of a 35-year-old male rider. Emergency responders from the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office and local medical personnel arrived on the scene to provide medical aid but were unable to revive the rider.
Authorities reported that the eastbound lanes of Highway 163 were briefly closed for investigation and cleanup. Towing services were called to remove the motorcycle from the roadway.
