JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A 24-year-old Sparta man was airlifted to the hospital following a motorcycle crash on Route 15 North early Sunday morning.
Authorities received reports of a motorcycle down near Edison Road at approximately 2:56 a.m. Responding officers found the rider, Jonathan Kressman, lying in the roadway and initiated lifesaving measures until advanced medical personnel arrived.
Kressman was subsequently flown to Morristown Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
Emergency response included the Jefferson Township Rescue Squad, Jefferson Township Fire Company No. 2, and St. Clare’s EMS.
The crash remains under investigation by the Jefferson Township Police Department and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.
