Major Injuries Reported in Motorcycle Crash on 5 Freeway in Burbank
Burbank, CA – A motorcycle crash resulted in one serious injury on the southbound 5 Freeway near the Empire Avenue off-ramp at 3:10 p.m. on May 30, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The collision involved a Civic motorcycle and a white BMW sedan. Emergency responders, including CHP officers, Burbank Police, and firefighters, arrived on the scene shortly after the accident occurred.
One individual sustained major injuries and was transported to the hospital for medical treatment.
All southbound lanes of the 5 Freeway were closed for approximately 30 minutes as officials conducted the investigation.
