SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, VA — A fatal crash on Interstate 95 northbound occurred at 4:08 a.m. Friday, claiming the life of a 26-year-old male driver.
According to Virginia State Police, the incident took place near the 117-mile marker. Preliminary investigations indicate the driver was operating a dark-colored Honda Civic at a possible high speed when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned in the median.
Emergency response teams arrived at the scene, where the driver was pronounced dead.
