Two Injured in Otter Tail County Motorcycle-Deer Collision.

NEW YORK MILLS, MINN. (Valley News Live) – Two individuals were injured in a motorcycle crash involving a deer on June 13 at 10:35 a.m.

The incident occurred on County Highway 67, south of New York Mills, as a motorcyclist and his passenger were traveling north when they struck a deer crossing the road.

The motorcycle overturned, resulting in both parties being thrown off. The driver, Eric Engler, sustained injuries to his arms and legs, while passenger Rebecca Engler suffered injuries to her arms, legs, and head.

Both were transported by ambulance to a local hospital. Authorities reported that both individuals were wearing helmets and appropriate riding gear at the time of the accident.

The New York Mills Fire Department and the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
