KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. — A motorcycle crash on Sunday morning has resulted in the death of a Virginia man.
The incident occurred at approximately 8 a.m. at the intersection of McBee Highway and Mt. Pisgah Road. Dennis Roethlisberger, 66, of Charlottesville, was riding east on Mt. Pisgah Road when his motorcycle collided with a minivan traveling north on McBee Highway.
According to the Kershaw County Coroner’s Office, Roethlisberger was pronounced dead at the scene. The occupants of the minivan suffered no injuries.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently investigating the accident.
