Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-95 Injures Three in Richmond
RICHMOND, VA — A multi-vehicle crash on I-95 southbound near Broad Street injured three individuals on October 10 at approximately 4:15 p.m.
According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, the incident involved four vehicles, resulting in the closure of two southbound lanes for over an hour. Emergency responders from the Richmond Fire Department and Virginia State Police arrived on the scene to provide medical aid and direct traffic.
Authorities reported that three individuals sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital. The drivers involved were identified as a 32-year-old male, a 45-year-old female, and a 29-year-old male. No fatalities have been reported.
The scene was cleared, and all lanes reopened by 5:45 p.m. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by local authorities. Witnesses described heavy traffic delays during the incident.
