A 45-year-old man is in critical condition following a motorcycle crash in Hartford early Sunday morning.
The Hartford Police Department responded to Coventry Street at Woodstock Street around 4 a.m. Officers discovered the man lying in the roadway next to a crashed motorcycle, suffering from serious, life-threatening injuries. Authorities confirmed that only the motorcycle was involved in the incident.
Emergency Medical Services transported the man to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
This marks the second serious motorcycle crash in the city over the weekend. A man was killed in a separate crash on Interstate 91 on Saturday, and two men died in a head-on collision in Chaplin late Friday night.
The Hartford Police Department’s Crime Scene Division is investigating the incident, which remains ongoing. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Hartford Police Department Tip Line at (860) 722-TIPS (8477).
