PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (WCAX) – A motorcycle collision with a truck in Plattsburgh resulted in a fatality on Friday, September 19, at 8:20 p.m.
According to authorities, a 2006 Honda motorcycle, driven by 21-year-old Ronnie Gamble III of Peru, collided with a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck at an intersection while traveling westbound.
Gamble was transported to the University of Vermont Health Network CVPH, where he was pronounced deceased. The 27-year-old male driver of the pickup truck sustained no injuries and was released.
City Police closed the intersection for several hours for an investigation, collaborating with the New York State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit. The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
