JACKSON, Miss. —
Mississippi Mud Monsters announced on Tuesday that a portion of ticket sales will aid Mississippi College athlete Grayson Foster, critically injured in a motorcycle crash.
Foster, a track athlete, suffered severe injuries, including the amputation of a leg, following a crash in June on Robinson Spring Road in Madison County. He spent several weeks in the intensive care unit and continues to incur significant medical expenses.
Foster’s best friend, who was riding behind him, removed his helmet to assist him until emergency services arrived. The incident required multiple blood transfusions, and Foster’s family is encouraging public blood donations in his name. Mississippi Blood Services is accepting contributions under the code EQ32.
The Mississippi Mud Monsters emphasized their commitment to community support, announcing that funds raised from ticket sales will contribute to Foster’s recovery efforts.
The Mississippi College community has rallied around Foster, organizing fundraisers and offering prayers since the accident. Known for his work ethic and character, Foster has been a supportive presence for his teammates, even during his injuries.
