Two Dead in Brooklyn Parkway Collision; Driver Flees Scene
Two men were killed in a crash between a motorcycle and a Mercedes-Benz on the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn on Sunday night, Oct. 19, 2025.
According to police, a 22-year-old motorcyclist and a 28-year-old passenger in a white Mercedes were pronounced dead at NYU Langone Lutheran Medical Center following the incident. The crash occurred as both vehicles were traveling westbound when they exited the Parkway at high speed, drove over the median, and collided with three parked cars on Shore Parkway at East 7th Street.
Authorities reported that the driver of the Mercedes-Benz fled the scene and is currently unidentified. Emergency responders from the NYPD and Fire Department were on site to assist. No additional injuries were reported.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing, and further details are expected to be released by investigators. Lane closures were reported along Shore Parkway following the accident.
