RICHFORD, Vt. —
A 20-year-old man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash involving a tractor-trailer on Troy Street shortly before 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
According to Vermont State Police, Adam Blodgett was traveling east when he turned a corner and collided head-on with the truck.
Blodgett was pinned beneath the truck; fire and rescue personnel freed him and transported him to the hospital. His condition is critical but not life-threatening.
The tractor-trailer operator was uninjured. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
