Motorcyclist Killed in Kansas Turnpike Crash Near Wichita
A motorcyclist died Wednesday afternoon in a crash on the Kansas Turnpike near Rock Road in Wichita.
The collision occurred in the northbound lanes around 2:41 p.m., prompting the closure of two lanes. One lane was reopened by 3:15 p.m., according to a spokesperson for the Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP).
Injuries and fatalities are confirmed, but additional details regarding the victim have not yet been released. Emergency medical services responded to the scene, and the KHP is currently investigating the incident.
